Fabulous bedroom in a lovely 19th century home, on a very safe and quiet street. A short walk to public transportation, the lakefront, shops, theaters, restaurants etc.
This is one of four available bedrooms. Guests have two shared bathrooms, and a large, comfortable common lounge area packed with a multitude of amenities. Guests share a separate fridge, microwave, large screen HD TV, coffee and tea machines, toaster oven, toaster, cooking grill, food storage, dishes, cookware, etc.
All the bedrooms are nicely furnished, and the home is quite secure and safe. Maid service is provided on weekends for long term guests, and of course in between guests. We have two showers available for guests at all times, there is never bottleneck traffic for bathroom time, both showers are European style. The common area has everything for guests to feel at home, and they can always text if they need anything.
Guest have access to their rooms and the bathroom on the second floor level and the lower level common room, laundry room, and lower level bathroom.

Guests have a key to wood entry door and are asked to be in by 11pm weekdays, and 12am weekends. We lock all doors for security and safety purposes. We do this because guests appreciate peace and quiet, and they usually have to get up early on weekdays and work. If people come in late, knock, the dog barks, it disturbs everyone, and it is not fair to anyone.
There is no food allowed on the second floor, what so ever.
Please remember to avoid flushing excessive tissue down the toilet. In order to avoid excessive wear on plumbing, only flush tissue down toilets when needed, otherwise please use the garbage for tissue.
Please use coasters or the trays provided in rooms for glassware. Do not put glassware directly on wood furniture.
Although professionally maid service is provided bi weekly, depending on scheduling, for routine cleaning in all guest areas, and linen changes in guest bedrooms, the host is not your maid.
Please pick up after yourself. Please put things back where you find them, if you've moved them. Please throw your own garbage away, and don't leave the bathroom a mess for the next person who uses it. Please put your dirty dishes in the sink, and help replace clean dishes.
While the host rinses all cookware, utensils cups, glassware, dishes, and loads and unloads them from the dishwasher all guests are asked to help put them back. All clean dish ware etc, is set on counter right next to the door leading to the guest common area. Please grab something, on your way down, especially if you have used it, or intend to in the future.
Please turn off lights whenever you exit guest areas. Whether it's the guest lounge, laundry room, a guest bedroom, or one of the two guest bathrooms, please turn off lights before you leave. Since four guests have two bathrooms to share its especially important to leave the lights off and the door open to indicate to other guests that the bathroom is available. The one light that is the exception is the basement light next to the laundry light switch, that stays on 24/7.
Please remember not remove house hold fixtures and/or other electrical and plumbing elements. If you wish to remove something, please get the attention of the host, and ask first. This is to avoid damage to the home, such as compromising electrical wiring, and
plumbing safety features.
This a non smoking property, there is no smoking on the property what so ever.
Please, always close the back yard gate when you leave, do not leave the back yard gate open. Please close your bedroom door when you leave, do not leave your bedroom door open when you are gone. Please lock the back wood door when you leave, do not leave the back wood door unlocked when you leave.
This not only for your own safety and protection, but for the safety and protection of everyone else in the house.
There is a $20 charge for a replacement key, if you lose it, or do not return it, or forget to leave it in the room when you leave.
