-Our Tiny Little Guest-House is a compact, studio-style, mini-home. In other words: it's small, cozy, petit, pequeño, piccolo, klein. It's little. It's tiny! Please keep this in mind when making a reservation. (Notice for our TALL guests: The guesthouse ceilings are low in some areas, approximately 6ft 3in or 190 cm. Please beware of the ceiling fan.)
-Garden area: The guest-house has a private entrance and a small garden with two Keys-style Adirondack chairs and a bistro set. There’s a citronella candle and insect repellent to keep away any bugs. We strive to keep our garden lush and green for your enjoyment. Take your morning coffee or your glass of wine out and enjoy some bird and gecko-watching.
-Living area: There’s an A/C window unit that keeps everything nice and cool. There’s a two-seater, love-seat where you can sit back and watch CNN or read emails as Our Tiny Little Guest-House is equipped with cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Please note that the sofa is not big enough to sleep on. There are also two TV dinner-style folding tables on which to eat meals. There are plug-in air fresheners below the A/C unit and in the bathroom. Feel free to unplug them during your stay if you prefer (or contact me if you'd like them to be removed before your arrival.)
-Sleeping Area: The bed is a "full size" bed, which snugly fits two adults. We offer two sets of Beautyrest pillows (soft and firm). The mattress and pillows are covered with waterproof protectors for hygienic purposes. If you find them uncomfortable, you may remove them and leave them in the closet during your stay. There are eyeshades in case the morning is too bright and earplugs in the nightstand for when the neighborhood dogs bark or the occasional night-time thunderstorms get too loud.
-Storage: There’s a small walk-in closet with hangars and a dresser in which to place personal items. In the top drawer of the dresser there are umbrellas and colored beach towels. Please use these at the beach instead of the white bathroom towels. In the nightstand you’ll find eyeshades and ear plugs.
-Bathroom: The bathroom is compact (only 1 person at a time) and has a sliding door with vents (somewhat limited privacy). The shower is quite narrow so you might not have a lot of elbow room. ***Important: The water temperature labels are switched: H=Cold, C=Hot.) There are small bottles of shampoo and conditioner and a small bottle of body wash for your use. There's a hairdryer, hand wash, air freshener, and a set of towels per guest. There are more toiletries (first aid kit, razor, lotion, comb, dental kit) inside the bathroom mirror.
-Kitchenette: In the kitchenette, you'll find a breakfast snack basket with instant coffee, creamer, tea bags, sugar, sweetener, cereal bars, cheese crackers, and other yummy treats! (***Allergy warning: snacks may contain peanuts, nuts, soy, dairy, wheat, and/or gluten.***) In the fridge, you’ll find a water bottle and complimentary drink for each guest. The kitchenette is equipped with a hot plate, electric tea kettle, toaster, and microwave. There are utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, and mugs, as well as a pot and pan. A fire extinguisher is located under the sink.
Guests have access to free on-site parking, their private garden and sitting area, and the tiny little guest-house. Garbage and recycling bins can be found at the front of the main house. Laundry service is available upon request for a nominal fee.
Другие важные подробности
We strive to make Our Tiny Little Guest-House as comfy and cozy as possible. It has a lot of the small comforts you'll find in budget hotels (maybe even some mid-range ones!): cable TV, free wi-fi, a French press with medium-roast Starbucks coffee (save yourself the trip), a refillable breakfast snack basket (just ask!), a secluded garden/outdoor seating area, bottled mineral water and chilled wine, and even those miniature facial soaps! But in the end, we are your neighbors welcoming you into our home-space which is really the spirit of the Airbnb experience. If you are a traveller looking for a lush, lavish, and luxurious accommodation, we are probably not best suited for you. But if you want a low-key, chill experience in Key Largo, come on down: our doors are open!

We want all our guests to have a 5-star Airbnb experience. If there's anything at all that I can do to make that happen please let me know via phone call, text, or Airbnb message. Don't be shy to ask! :-)
I will be working off-property, however, my co-host Theresa (who is also my sister and property owner) would love to sit for a chat over a cold beer in the evenings when she gets off work. She will message you to see if you're interested... :-)
Hi! That's my sister (and co-host) Theresa and me in my profile pic. I'm from Miami (and Chicago) and I love solo-travel. I speak French, Portuguese, Spanish, and some Arabic (so let's chat!) I've been to over 60 countries and am working on crossing off everything on my bucket list. I returned to Key Largo in January to help my sister set-up and run our Airbnb and we've been loving the experience: getting to meet amazing people from all over the world and making it possible for our guests to #livelikealocal and experience Key Largo and the Florida Keys. :-)
After years of living abroad and extensive travel, I've stayed in all types of accommodation: hostels, motels, couches, cabanas on the beaches of Zanzibar, troglodyte caves in the Tunisian desert, overnight Norwegian ferries, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi... In short, I know what it's like to stay in an awesome place and it rarely has to do with the thread-count or little fancy designer toiletries (although I love those!): it's about the people you meet that make you feel like you're at home. My sister and I hope we can be one of those people for you during your stay in the Keys.
