Located 8 miles from Asheville & less than 1/2 mile from the French Broad River, the cabin is secluded, quiet & cozy with all of the ameneties you'll need to feel at home: a complete kitchen, with mini fridge, cook-stove, coffee maker & microwave, smart TV, WiFi, a table/desk for working on your laptop, and a luxurious bed & love-seat.
We also provide coffee (including decaf) & tea, bottled water, snacks, nice bed linens, towels, extra soap & shampoo.
The cabins are nestled in the woods, next to a babbling brook with plenty of local wildlife. Even though youre close to town, you can come to the cabin each night, have campfire, sit on the porch and listen to the sounds of nature.
The cabin has an indoor bathroom with a Nature's Head composting toilet and there's a detached indoor hot shower just steps away
Previous guests say its the perfect location because you can enjoy the city and still hear the sounds of nature and see the stars at night.
Downtown Asheville's local food scene with it's amazing variety of restaurants, live bands, craft beer & brew pubs is just a 10 minute drive.
Asheville has loads of outdoor activities like kayaking, innertubing, hiking, biking, & much more.
You are welcome to use the entire cabin area and shower. My house is also located on the poperty in case you need anything, but I am out of your line of sight and you will have complete privacy.

I only recently to Asheville with my dog & cats to a cabin in the woods. I have 3 grown children & 2 grandchildren. I love to hike/walk, ride my bike, and engage in politics. I am looking forward to introducing you to my new home in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina!
