We're just moments away from some of Chicago's finest restaurants and cocktail bars in Logan Square and Wicker Park. Easy access to downtown via public transit, bike, Uber, or Lyft. Cycling, walking, and jogging can all be done with ease along the 606, Chicago's fanciest trail ( 2.7mi / 4.3km ) that takes you through several great neighborhoods while being immersed in local culture and flora. With a Divvy access point at the path entrance, renting a bike for the day couldn't get much easier!
What you'll find is a large bedroom with a queen size bed and plenty of space to stretch out for some relaxation. We keep snacks and fun things on hand, as well as plenty of material for learning more about the city. Our space is decorated with a mix of mid century modern furniture, thrift store finds, travel souvenirs, and things that make us smile.
Your room will be attached to the kitchen, which is in the rear of our unit. The kitchen is free to be used for lighter cooking. The bathroom is shared and on the smaller side, and we do ask that on weekday mornings that you please be aware of our work schedules so that we can use the bathroom in harmony! The only rooms that are off limits would be our bedroom and office. Otherwise, get cozy and make yourself at home.

We love sharing our favorite places with people! So if you're looking for ideas of where to eat or drink then please do ask. Raquel often works from home and Kent works a bit of a flexible schedule, so they're often hanging around the apartment and always willing to help.

Simply be respectful of our home. Don't flush dumb things down the toilet. Lock the doors when you leave. Do not surprise us with any pets or children. Please write a little something in our guestbook if you enjoyed your stay. Take advantage of the snacks!

We love meeting people and we're more than happy to show you the best Chicago has to offer! Our love of travel, food, art and counter-culture is what brought us together. As a couple we love traveling and spontaneity is what we live for. Our first trip together was a last minute getaway to Morocco and we've been together ever since. Raquel is from Chicago but lived in Glasgow, Scotland for 8 years it's a huge part of her life with yearly trips to Scotland always firmly in the calendar. When it comes to hosting we find we get along best with seasoned travelers who are down to earth and spontaneous. We tend not to be able to accept bookings far in advance because we don't know when we might want to head out of town ourselves. We also find it works out better if guests have some idea of where they'd like to go, it'll help us point them in the right direction. With that said, local thrift stores, hidden breakfast spots, local boutiques and dive bars are our specialty; so we will have lots of recommendations. We don't spend a lot of time downtown, so if that's where you'll be hanging out we're NOT the hosts for you. If you'd like to see what downtown has to offer we suggest staying, well, downtown. When we're not exploring our own city we're on a plane headed to a land far, far way.
