We are Yumi and Xavier, hosts of this house.
I was born and grew up at this old family house. The house used to be a possession of a master of Japanese tea ceremony in Kanazawa. Yumi’s family acquired it and continued to live here for 2 generations (approximately five decades), from the time of her mother. We adore nice food, and love spending leisure time watching the gardens change through the four seasons. Our Japanese-style Garden can be seen from our dining room.

Around the house, there are apartments and company-owned parking spaces. We appreciate your following the downtown area rules. For example, please do not make any loud noises late at night. (Especially, please be quiet after 10 pm)
Cars come and go around the house during morning commute time. Except for that, the location is very quiet—so quiet you will not believe that it is downtown!
Please note that we shall not be responsible for any accidents or troubles in the house and the site.
