Tulum is known internationally for it's white sand public beach. It is protected by national park status and development is very limited to ensure it's integrity for all. That in mind, most services aren't on the beach but are in town. That's why the location of these apartments is so good. It's quiet, peaceful, tucked in the jungle and only a 10 min walk to town. The beach is more of an excursion - as often as you want by cab (about 7 mins) or by bike rental (about 25 min ride). A favourite restaurant is El Camello which is a fantastic seafood restaurant. Tulum's culinary excellence is one of it's biggest draws.
For the folks seeking adventure, there are some must see and do things that are either free or very inexpensive. Start with swimming with the Giant Turtles in Akumal. There is the Canal float trip at Muyil, canals built by the Mayans across the Lagoon to the ocean. And if you enjoy swimming in the beautiful cenotes there is one only minutes from Casa di Guadalupe - Cenote Crystal and costs only 50 pesos as entrance.

I'm a 33 year old from the Canadian prairies. -40° winters and +40° degree summers (that's 104° for my American amigos).
We live off-grid and home school the offspring. Our house has loads of plants to keep us hydrated and healthy in between our visits to Tropical Tulum.
Variety is the spice of life. To pay our bills, in addition to our Tulum rental, we do 3 Bs - some bees, some bison, and some home building.
We live vicariously through our guests and their lavish reviews about the magic and charm of Tulum.
We visit Tulum as often as we can but we manage our property remotely. It has its challenges but we do our best.
We work with an excellent local team dedicated to ensuring your stay is as comfortable and refreshing as possible.
