Well, I assume that Corentin was a very good host, but evidently his female roommate was a terrible, even terrifying person. Before our arrival, Coentin sent us message that he was leaving the country so he left his roommates' contact to us for further communication. When we found the apartment and walked in the door, we greeted the woman in charge like we greet other hosts. She was a little different from other hosts that we encounter. She seemed a little aloof, which we felt okay since people are different and we accept that. There were other guests in that apartment at the time. The first night was peaceful, and the next day after we came back from Manhattan, the woman stormed at us and blamed us getting the apartments' toilet clogged, which we found very funny since we did not even touch that toilet the next morning. The night we checked in the place, the time was really late and I did not use the toilet at all. And the next day my friend woke up, and she went to shower and found that toilet was clogged. In that evening, the woman was discussing this whole clogging thing with other guests in French and we did not understand. All the other guests there thought that we were responsible for this. Another French woman came up to us speaking English with an accent, asking if we speak English. I was a little bit confused on where that kind question came from since I and my friend greeted them with English the first day. She said to us that this was an apartment for everyone there and they had to fixed the problem that we caused. Very funny! It seemed that no one trusted us, no matter what we explained to them that we did not even touch the freaking toilet. One day, my friend needed to use a toilet but the clogged one was not fixed yet and she asked the woman in charge where she could find one. My friend walked 15 minutes away in the freezing weather and tried to find a toilet, but the woman in charge did not even mention to my friend that they have another toilet in the apartment. The woman later blamed on all kinds of things, even using her personal shampoo. Lady, we are freaking rich Chinese and we can afford our owns! One thing I am really sorry about for this entire stay is that our shopping bags left there. At the time, we were kinda in a rush to the airport and they should apologize for the way they treated us. We are not perfect, but that woman in charge was way above the perfection. If she was one of my teachers in primary school. I would be so grateful to have her in my life. Last but not least, they also assumed that we broke wait-for-it a damn hair dryer. Thx vm!
