Per community house rules, all guests must register with the on-site resident manager or security. A photo copy of valid government issued identification is required for all guests in the unit.

All residents are required to sign-in their guests at the Security Desk in the main lobby for every visit. Guests are not permitted unescorted above the lobby level and may not be in possession/and or use of key set. Use of key set is reserved for the express use of residents only and may not be used to allow access to anyone other than the resident and guest.

In general, all guests are asked to be a good neighbor and to also comply with the following:
-Loud music or TV playback is generally not allowed.
-Trash chutes are located on all floors. Please adhere to posted signing. If you have items too large for the trash chute, please use the dumpster in the garage.
- All personal items (towels/ clothing) may never hang over or from a lanai ledge or there is a $50.00 USD charge.
-Intoxicated behavior in any common area is prohibited.
-Upon check-out, please place all keys in the key drop in the door to the rear of our office to the right of the security desk in the lobby of Tower 1. Unaccounted for key sets will incur a $100 charge per set.

Very friendly staff, very helpful and kind! Location is super close to the beach. On the other hand, the AC unit was super loud; we could hardy fall asleep. The bath tub was in a bad shape. Will probably use this place again if they replace the AC unit at least.

If you are here for work, don't book this place. This place is decent for someone on vacation on a budget. PROS: Close to the beach. Grocery store a couple of blocks away. Cheaper than a hotel for the most part. 2 lanai are nice. Very much enjoyed eating breakfast out there with some good views! Safe. Security on site after hours and elevators requiring a key fob. Laundry on site The place itself is a bit outdated and has some quirks but generally clean and safe. I would recommend it for someone looking for a no-frills place to crash. CONS: My main complaint about this place is due to it not being a compatible place to work out of. There are other negatives to this place that could have been looked over but I will include them just so you are aware. We reached out to this place prior to booking to ask about internet speeds. We were told that the internet was comparable to average office speeds. We went ahead and booked for 22 days expecting being able to comfortably work. The internet ended up being extremely slow. 1mbps (or less!) download and forget about any sort of upload. I have screenshots of this. And that includes hardwiring directly to the modem, as well as having a single device on the network. Now they did attempt to fix this by switching the box out which was appreciated. But in the end there was no sort of resolution. We even offered to pay EXTRA for the month or so we were there but were met with an excuse about being in a grandfathered plan that they don't want to lose. What good is an old plan if the internet can barely send a text only email with no attachments? This issue lead to LOTS of money wasted going to coworking spaces and transportation costs all over Honolulu trying to find a solution to what we were told was a workable environment. There was also construction for the majority of our time here a couple of floors below us. Lots of noise during the day. This isn't really anything that is in control of Hawaii Dream Realty since there are other condos in this building. The shower would flip flop regularly to hot and cold most nights. No amount of balancing out the knobs would fix this issue. The freezer in the mini fridge would not make ice even on the lowest setting. Again these small inconveniences were not a huge deal, but combined lead to a less than favorable experience. AVOID THE PARKING GARAGE. Another thing not necessarily in control by HDR but we had terrible experiences with them. I caught the towing company trying to hook our car up 30 MIN before our ticket expired.

Our response to Greg when asked about internet speeds, we explained our internet is average compared to office speeds which is a must. Our office and any other office rely on High Speed Internet. We switched out the modem to get a better connection, average wifi speed would be frustrating for work related business. You have explained the wifi and parking concerns on your stay with us. We wish you would have mentioned the room maintenance issues because we have a Handyman on call in Waikiki. If the guest don't mention something to us, we aren't able to fix it. It was a perfect place to spend our first year anniversary with my husband! The room was comfortable so as the neighbours, it was clean and just perfect in accomodating us for the weekend! Everything we wanted was a walkable distance very close to our place. Great service as well from the hosts!

The hosts are very kind. They will greet you with a map and give you great suggestions of places to go. However, there was a mold smell in the room that made the stay a bit uncomfortable. The room needs some renovation/updating to get rid of that smell.

The location of this unit is unbeatable, 2 short blocks to the beach! Close to great food (within a block) and buses are located right outside. Check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Host was great with communications, very quick to respond to our needs. The unit was quite big with two lanais. Everything is as described: fast internet, comfy bed, working air conditioning. Location may be noisy for some as the unit is located on one of the major roads, and the blinds are not blackout so for those sensitive to light, best to bring eye cover. The unit is quite dated with older carpeting, dated grout and missing baseboards in the washroom. Overall still good value for those looking for budget accommodations!

If you are looking for an Ocean-front experience, then target $350- $400/night and for a luxury experience, $500 to over $1000/night. Hawaii offers something for everyone at every price point!

Our vacation rental units are privately owned and managed. We offer an alternative to the hotel experience allowing our guests to “live like a local” in paradise whether be for a few days, a few weeks or a few months. Our units are well maintained, repaired when necessary and treated routinely with pest control services. We try not to interrupt our guests during their stay, and if the unexpected happens, we do our best to resolve it quickly with the least inconvenience to our guests. Upon arrival, we try to meet all our guests personally to register, check-in, and answer any questions. And if you’re running late don’t worry, we can make arrangements no matter the hour and register you in the office the next day.
