Harong sa Iraya is set within a 2-hectare organic farm in a quiet part of Paniman, Caramoan – minutes away from the shoreline which serves as jump-off point to the Caramoan group of islands. Guests can experience nature at its best when entering a spacious farm at the foot of a hill covered in lush greens.
We offer 4 comfortable "harong" (bahay-kubo/hut), individually decorated huts – fan room and each provided with beds in white cotton sheets and other bedroom necessities. Built with view deck, it is situated opposite to a concentrated rice field providing a picturesque backdrop, perfect with cup of coffee at sunrise.
Location is off-grid and power supply is limited and scheduled. Though at nighttime the resort is lightened up by thousand of glowing fireflies and bamboo tiki torches.
The space reflect simple , happy and free living - the less you have and do, the more you will be free and happy :)
The following are the "harongs"/huts covered by the Airbnb rate:
Harong 'Babbo' - a 2 storey hut made with hardwood and bamboo fabricated to resemble igorot hut from baguio. With its height , a breathtaking 360 view of the farm will calm your body and soul. Max capacity: 6 pax
Harong "Belya" - built by our own architect with a voracious heart for antique, all materials and furnitures with memoir from the past were transported from Pampangga to Caramoan. Max capacity: 5 pax
Harongs Balene and Bale' - a simple traditional hut ideal for couples who want total privacy. Absolute peace and tranquility.
Guests can also enjoy the following amenities:
Common Restroom - with separate toilet and bath for men and women. Similar with the harong, we want our design to materialize tradition and culture
We may provide you an ice cooler, though you have to buy your own ice supply that can be bought along the way.
However, meals can be pre-ordered (a day prior to serving)
Covered Lounge/Common Area - where guests can engage in different activities. Guests can sleep and dream, or simply lie down and read a book.
We love books! so feel free to borrow from our book shelves, just don't forget to return it to its proper place.
And because we were born before the internet age, we believe its more fun to engage in activities involving humans . And so, we have board games for both kids and kids at heart.
Camping grounds - a great outdoor experience. Guest may simply rent a tent, or may bring their own tent for P350/night provided a minimum of one harong/hut is paid. Experience waking to the sound of nature.
Campers may use common areas, such as restroom, covered lounge and bonfire pit. Tiki torches and solar lamp are provided with deposit fee upon check-in.
Bonfire pit - to complete every guests outdoor and bonding experience with friends and families. Toasted marshmallow or ice cold beer?

We will try our best to accommodate inquiries and requests of every guest if possible.
We can also provide assistance for your island hopping adventures.

We can assist you by looking for available tour guide and bankeros on your date desired, but any misunderstanding or undesired outcome is not a responsibility of our management. Agreement is solely between the client and the bankeros. Standard boat tour approximately costs 1500.00, it may vary without prior notice.

Please be advised of the following:
1.Standard check in time is 2pm. Upon check-in, a refreshing Buko juice will be served
2.Check out will be 12nn
3.Rates does not include meals, tours or any other activities. However, we can recommend tour guides, transportation [tricycle, bangka, habal-habal], cook and other suppliers.
4. Inclusions of entitlement:
Use of reserved harong/s (nipa huts)only
Use of common areas such as toilet and bath, dining, kitchen and garden-farm.
6. We are located off-grid, electricity is limited and scheduled. We will allot 5 hours of electricity for each day of stay only. Schedule of power supply is from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm only, Manila time. However, bamboo/Tiki torches, flash light/solar lamp shall be provided in each reserved harong.
7.Reserved guests are provided 1 comfortable foam (single or queen-size), 1 linen, 1 blanket and 1 pillow (per pax). Extra pillow is charged for P30/night upon request.
8.Bonfire pit is available by request. However, this can only be enjoyed with the permission of all guests who are checked-in.
10.Smoking, drinking liquor and eating is STRICLY PROHIBITED inside the harongs and toilet and bath. You may utilize the dining common area and decks instead.
11.Please bring your own personal toiletries, bath towels, and extra beach towel or sarong for laying in the sand. In case of last minute trip and you really dont have bath towels with you, kindly inform us in advance
12. We have French-pressed barako brewed coffee upon request for P150/coffee container which can serve 3-4 persons. But if you have a 3 in 1 coffee with you, you may request for hot water in a thermos
14.Meals can be pre-odered, kindly inform us in advance. The food that we serve are mostly Filipino cuisine. Seafoods like crabs, shrimps , squid can be served depending on its availability and rates vary.
15. At Harong Sa Iraya, there is no internet connection because we simply want you to experience countrified living. But if you must be connected, kindly bring your own internet connection device. Connecting though may be a challenge.
16. Don't forget to bring insect repellant. Surprisingly, we have lesser mosquito compared to Manila, still your skin may look yummy :)
Harong Sa Iraya, is situated within a farm, thus logistic can be challenging. That is why we are encouraging our guests to inform us ahead of time for any special requests or itinerary which can possibly be arranged by HSI to avoid any inconveniences for both our guests and staff.
We want out guests to feel rural living as possible, and so staying at our place can really be simple and laid-back. If you're looking or expecting a luxurious 5-star resort stay, then we may not be the place and might want to give us a pass and look further as Harong Sa Iraya may not be for you. At the end of the day, we want our guest to be happy with their choice.
