My place is located in popular Tranmere is walking distance to shops, parks and public transport. You’ll love the location in the green, leafy and quiet Eastern suburbs foothills, but only 7km from the City centre. The home is perfect for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, University of South Australia and Norwood Morialta school staff and visitors, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
This house is perfect for long term stays, whether you are in Adelaide purely for a holiday, visiting the University, on a work contract, looking to live in South Australia, a home for during your own house renovation, visiting friends and family or wanting to bring your pets away with you.
The house has undergone recent renovations including new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new carpets, blinds and fresh paint. Built in 1998, the house has lots of storage (robes in each room and walk in robe) and suits a modern lifestyle.
This house is fully equipped for you to enjoy your stay. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area with new dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, fridge and rice cooker. Main bedroom features queen sized bed, plenty of wardrobe space and walk in robe with direct access to the 2 way bathroom. The bathroom has separate toilet, full sized bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has a writing desk and queen bed or 2 singles that zip together depending on your needs. All beds are super comfortable. There is a sofa bed or floor futon available for extra guests if needed. You'll love the rose garden and outdoor patio with BBQ. Reverse cycle air conditioning and ceiling fan in master bedroom will keep you comfortable. Portable cot and high chair are available on request.
Breakfast provisions are provided to start your stay - cereal options, seasonal fruit (subject to availability), milk, tea making facilities and coffee machine.
Long term bookings are welcomed.
There is 1 garage space (roller doors each end so you can drive through a trailer) and enough room for another 2 off street carparks. Small, well behaved pets are negotiable.
If you are a new user to AirBnB (or have no previous reviews) I'd love to hear a bit about yourself first. You can get up to $50 free credit (new users) by following this link www.airbnb.com.au/c/dkong127?s=8
You can also see my other newly renovated AirBnB listing for stays just 4km South of the city (sleeps 4) https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/7698458?preview
The booking is for up to 2 guests staying in one room. Extra guests/rooms can be used at small extra fee for bed and linen. The brand new 3 seater sofa converts into a large double sized bed to accommodate up to 6 guests.

Please note that a gardener may be organized to maintain the lawns during longer stays.
Your booking fee covers all utility bills (electricity, water, internet).
The hot water system for the shower is gravity fed from the ceiling, and is not like mains pressure showers which you may be used to. The shower is more than adequate but if you require a high pressure shower then this house won't be suitable for you.

You'll have the reassurance that we are close by to help if you have any questions, advice about things to do, contacts in Adelaide, or help in an emergency situation.
We have been hosting for over a year with fantastic reviews and repeat guests. We've also used AirBnBs as a guest and know first hand what makes a great experience.
Check in time can be flexible as we can leave the key in a locked box for you if necessary. We love to meet our guests but we also respect your privacy if you don't require any assistance.
I update our website "the Hunting Lodge" (AU) with "things to do" in Adelaide
The unit is self-catering and equipped with spare linen and all cleaning equipment to use as needed. If you do require the apartment to be serviced, I have a cleaner who is available at an additional charge directly to them.
I'm a friendly female in my mid 30's. I work as a health professional, yoga teacher and massage therapist. My partner Ben and I have enjoyed AirBnb as guests, and now as hosts - we are both very friendly and love to meet new people. We have both travelled extensively and lived overseas. I'm an ABC (Australian Born Chinese) and Ben is half Italian, half Malaysian Chinese - this pretty much means we love food, but happy to introduce our overseas guests to Australian culture. You'll see from my listings that I collect faux taxidermy and fridge magnets. My other hobbies include keeping active, spending time with my pet parrots and Ebay :) We look forward to meeting you.
