Private bedroom and private bathroom in an historic single family home located next to Castro Street in downtown Mountain View with convenient access to restaurants, Caltrain, and the heart of Silicon Valley.
Business travelers only, please.
Location, location, location!
Welcome to downtown Mountain View. We're located 1 block from Castro St. which is filled with restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops. Walking distance to Caltrain for trips into SF and convenient to many locations in the Peninsula.
I was lucky to find this great 2BD/2BA house that was built in 1925. You will have exclusive use of the second bedroom (queen bed) and second bathroom with shower and tub. The room includes a dresser and a desk, hanging storage, and 3 large windows with blackout shades.
We have a nice living room which has great natural light, a sofa, and an authentic Eames lounger to sit and relax in. All new dual-pane windows keep the temperature comfortable and block out noise. The home is a great choice for business travelers visiting the Bay Area who are looking for a quiet, central location to spend a few days.
The house has wood floors, full dining room, remodeled kitchen, fireplace, huge front yard and private back patio. Washer and dryer, too. Plenty of street parking in an ideal location. Close proximity to great running/biking trails. We can definitely provide restaurant recommendations and give you a taste of the area, too.
Visiting Microsoft, Goooogle, Y Combinator or 500 Startups? We are *very* close. And we don't require equity to stay here =)
Peninsula hotels suck, especially the ones in Mountain View. Travel like a human and stay with me.
No commercial inquiries, please. They will be rejected. We are only accepting business travelers at this time.
Feel free to use the dining room for eating or working, the kitchen, the laundry, and the living room. Outside table and chairs, along with an adirondack chair on the front porch which is great for reading.
Другие важные подробности
We require bookings at least 24 hours prior to arrival, preferably earlier so we have time to set up the room for you.
We ask that guests communicate their expected arrival and departure times so we can prepare for your visit. We also request basic cleanliness and common sense (turning off lights, locking the front door when you leave, hanging wet towels in the bathroom, etc.)
Guests are welcome to share all of the common spaces and make use of our washer/dryer. Kitchen use is also fine. Just let us know in advance so we can schedule around you.
If you'll be arriving in the middle of a weekday when we're at work, we can leave a key for you if you have multiple positive Airbnb reviews.
