This room provides excellent accommodation for one person, with unobstructed views and plenty of walking tracks nearby. We are located just 8 minutes drive from central Queenstown and within walking distance to the Shotover River.. The room contains sufficient natural light from the large window overlooking the valley, a king single bed and a wardrobe. If travelling in a group of three, this room would be perfect alongside our double room to accommodate your needs.
This place is great for families of 3 (parents and one child over 10) travelling, or a group of 3 friends, because it can be combined with our other double room.
Guests will have full access to our lounge and kitchen in the morning, where I will provide a basic breakfast consisting of freshly baked bread with homemade jams and honey sourced right here from our beehive.

James and I consider us a very friendly, openminded and relaxed family. We are very proud of having built this home and created the garden ourselves. James is a builder and I have the green fingers. Our daughter attends Wakatipu High School. Our son studies at the University of Canterbury. James is a true kiwi and loves the outdoor, snowboarding, kayaking and biking to name a few. I came originally from Germany 28 years ago and met James in New Zealand. I grow a variety of fruits and nuts in our garden. Together, we have planted a lot of native trees and shrubs to attract native birdlife. We also have our own bees which produce delicious honey. I love going for walks and enjoy skiing and travelling. We love sharing our little paradise with people from around the world. We want our guests to feel at home in our beautiful little paradise. It's all about building bridges.
