I appreciate the suggestion about the outdoor sofa and will consider changing the fabric, as it is a little bit worn out by the sun and intensive use. I would like to seize this opportunity to clarify that we don't pretend to offer brand new facilities, on the contrary we try to keep the place simple and affordable for the families visiting from other places of Costa Rica and many countries. We consider the apartment comfortable as it is, with large and luminous space, King-size beds in the main bedrooms, orthopedic mattresses, wooden furniture, fully equipped kitchen, pleasant view, TV with cable, WiFi, laundry facilities, secure parking lot and a beautiful pool, which is well above the standards expected from most of our visitors, relatively to the value. Our overall rating and the former reviews speak for us. Unfortunately, based on your private comments, you were expecting an all-inclusive resort right on the beach with luxury facilities, A/C, breakfast included and restaurant, which we definitely don’t offer. In order to avoid any further disappointment in the future, we kindly invite you to read carefully the property descriptions before booking. As you may be aware of, cancelling a reservation generate costs for the guest as well as for the property owner. Also, you didn’t comply with Airbnb cancellation policy as you stayed overnight after cancelling, and enjoyed the place until check-out time limit the next day so technically you had a full day for free, which is clearly an abusive behavior. I decided not to complain and I won’t retain your refund, but I feel I needed to respond honestly to your review as it sounds slightly unfair. I wish you all the best for the rest of your travel.
