If you read our other reviews you will find that we have had tourist from several different places in the US as well as Holland France Germany and others. Most of them have had very positive experiences staying in our unit. The location is a rapidly gentrifying area in the downtown Tampa area. There ilare new homes, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, bakeries, gyms that are opening up all around us.
The abandoned apartment complex adjacent to us that Mr. Titus was talking about is a closed public housing housing complex that is currently being demolished. The closure of that complex has been the catalyst for the revitalization of the area.
Our location is in close proximity to the Tampa convention center, downtown Tampa, Heights public market, Riverwalk, and other cool things to do in Tampa. In addition on May 15, 2018, the city of Tampa will open Julian Lane Park, a $35 million park just a couple blocks away from us, making our location even better.
Unfortunately the guests who stayed in the unit before Mr. Titus, left quite a mess and we were left with the option of either canceling the reservation for Titus or continuing. This is a tough call because in the few were instances where we had to cancel reservation, the guest have been very upset. So in this case we decided to continue with the reservation.
We will further evaluate those decisions in the future and improve our communications with the guest prior to coming in
