This 2 bedroom apartment and music studio is in the heart of cathedral heights. Your suite is completely separate from the rest of the space with a solarium and bed nook. You'll have access to a kitchen, 1.5 bathrooms, and the music studio/living room too.
first and foremost: this is my home and not a hotel. If you are looking for a hotel-like environment (read: absolute quiet, pristine environment) this is not the space for you. Keeping with the Airbnb motto: don't go there, live there. Hosting is something I love to do and I keep my rates low because it's more than just $$ for me: it's something I do to give back to the world community. I have a cleaning person come bi-weekly to deep clean the apartment and I make sure your bed always has clean linens and you have access to as many clean towels as you like. I wash them in my washing machine in the apartment which you're welcome to use as well.
I often host conference goers, students, travelers, people apartment hunting or just travelers taking in the richness that DC has to offer.
The whole apartment is large and nicely segmented, so there's lots of distinguished spaces. We are directly across from a new Starbucks and some of the best restaurants in town- Celesta works at 2Amys which is 3 blocks away and has the best Pizza in town! You'll also have access to a wardrobe and a desk, and fast wifi. There's way too much in this city to explore, so that's really all you need.
The common area of the space is also a music studio as Celesta is a private voice instructor but the schedule will be posted and lessons don't run past 9.
If you like singing or playing piano or guitar you'll be in a great spot.
You'll more than likely be greeted by little ginger cats named Chester and Winnie. They are talkative and friendly and love Airbnb guests.
The entire house. Kitchen, living room, music studio with piano, patio...
Общение с гостями
There may be a second guest staying at the apartment during your stay. Guests and I tend to be busy; site seeing, working, conference going and use the apartment mostly to shower and sleep after a big day.
