I feel Tina has been a bit harsh in her criticism, some things she complains of I can do nothing about. Our house is not a "renter" its a family home. Not everything is brand new, not everything will be to your taste. Confusing old with dirty is disappointing, as the cleaning team spent five hours working on the house the day of her arrival and again during her stay.
I can do nothing about how the lights turn on and off, you either work it out or you don't. Tina obviously did not. Oddly the drawing room, which is the only potentially confusing part of the house electrical system, works from just 2 switches; its remembering which ones they are from the overly complicated, well hidden, and multiple control panels that's the problem.
I have been handed a list of "non working" householder appliances, but further investigation reveals they were not plugged in, or in the case of the fridges someone had switched them off, no doubt while trying to get the lights to work. Our clothes dryer blew up the week before Tina arrived, so no dryer, but plenty of good old fashion clothes line. Sorry.
Better communication would have helped us rectify these issues.
Solving these problems would have been easier if we had not had a change of guardian 10 days before Tina arrived, so in many ways Patrizia was as in the dark as Tina. For this I can only apologise and try to improve next time.
The guests who had the house for the week before Tina have left a review which, my our opinion, more accurately reflects the reality. I am very sorry Tina found her stay disappointing, we will note her areas of concern and do our best to address those we can in future.
