This listing is for a stylish loft room on the park side, located on level 3. This historic Grand Terrace in the heart of Paddington is home to Julie and Larry and we invite you to stay in our loft on level 3 with 2 x double bedrooms. Book one of the double bedrooms or take the entire loft exclusively by booking both bedrooms. Take your pick! What's your style? This is a unique Paddington Sydney house in size and scale and is in a great location, opposite Moore Park, easy walking to Surry Hills restaurants, Paddington markets, the City, and Fox Studios. Also just across the park from the SCG & Stadium if you are a cricket or sports fan .
All guest rooms are accessible from the main entrance on Moore Park Road close to public transport. You enter through the main house and use a common stairwell to the loft on level 3. The stylish loft has 2 double bedrooms, a common kitchenette and dining area, shared bathroom and fabulous roof deck with views. Getting from Sydney Airport to & from MPR House:
BY TAXI OR UBER: Approx $35.00 (non peak hour): 14 minutes:
Peak hours allow Approx $50
BY TRAIN: Airport to Central Railway $17.90 per person (12 minutes) then either:
Catch a taxi from Central Railway (Elisabeth St exit): 3 minutes (specify going via Albion St): Approx $12.00; OR
Catch a bus to Oxford St: approx. 30 minutes + need to purchase an Opal card for each person before boarding the bus. Then walk 5 minutes:
SO: If more than 1 person and not peak hour, Taxi or Uber is best option cost & time wise (and for convenience of not carrying luggage).
If peak hour, & cost is a consideration, consider catching a train to Central and then a taxi or bus from Central Railway (Elisabeth St exit).
Or, walk from Central Station to MPR House – 10-15 minutes but up hill).
Travelling by Car there is residents only restricted parking.
Once outside MPR HOUSE push the gate and ring the front door bell. Our guests enter from the front entrance on Moore Park Road close to public transport. Julie and Larry reside in the house and will open the door and greet you. You enter through the front door and house stairwell to the self contained loft on level 3. Larry and Julie are more than happy to assist guests with any special requests. The house is friendly and arty and will appeal to any dog lover as you will get to know Duke the chilled out black labrador. However we do not accommodate guest pets .

Just around the corner is the famous organic bread bakery where locals like to congregate for morning coffee and croissants. A short stroll down Greens Road and you will find Jackie's, a favourite cafe eatery of the Sydney fashion set. In the vicinity you will find many gastro pubs, local wine and cocktail bars. And if it is Sydney's best restaurants you are keen to try, we are more than happy to assist you with recommendations and reservations.
This is a beautiful Paddington home, friendly and arty with central location close to SCG and city. Home to black labrador Duke, we welcome dog lovers but don't accommodate guest pets.
