A bright & cosy flat, perfect for exploring Edinburgh on foot. The beautiful old town is a 10 minutes away while the Meadows, Arthur's Seat and Edinburgh's bohemian student district are all a stones throw away.
Newington is a leafy, trendy area in the south of Edinburgh, very popular amongst students and young professionals for its hipster cafés and bars. It is sandwiched between the Meadows park and Arthur's Seat so you're not stuck for ideas on what to do on a sunny day. It's also very close to the University of Edinburgh; a stereotypically old and beautiful Uni which is just nice to walk around and look at.
How do I get to your flat?
From the Airport you should take Bus 100 until Waverley Bridge (the final stop) or the Tram until St Andrews Square. After that we're a 20 minute walk away. If you don't want to walk you can take a bus from North Bridge for 10 minutes until King's Hall or a Taxi will take around 5 minutes.
Is Newington safe?
The area is very safe; there's very little crime in this area. Newington is full of students, young professionals and families so you'll feel comfortable at any hour of the day.
1) You could park in paid parking near to my flat. The closest is called Easi-parks on Parkside Street (5 minutes walk from my flat) and it costs £5.60 for the day.
2) If you’re parking for a short period or overnight you can park on my street. Between 0830 and 1700 it costs £1.60 an hour, and you're allowed a maximum of 4 hours. Outside these hours it's free.

Другие важные подробности
Please only book this place if you are happy to look after our cat whilst we are away. She is very friendly and cuddly, all you'll have to do is stroke her every now and again, feed her about twice a day and help keep her litter tray clean (we use flushable litter so it takes no time to clean and doesn't stink).

Smiling, helpful couple from Aberdeen and Switzerland. We're keen travellers and have been all around the world but for the moment we're settled in Edinburgh and instead, help others in their Scottish adventures.
