Our cozy and comfortable 2 bedroom is on the bus line and a short drive from the French Quarter at the Musicians village. You’ll love my place because of the people, the generations old family neighborhood, its quiet, clean and comfortable.
With beautiful hardwood floors throughout and a refinished original clawfood tub you can enjoy the life and fun of the city with a clean and peaceful retreat at the end of the day.
Full kitchen, bathroom and yard.

I like to meet my guests as they arrive, tell them about the space and the neighborhood. I check in each day to make sure they are having a great time and are comfortable and I am available to help them have a wonderful time.

We are a short drive to almost everything that you could want to do. A car or ride sharing are the best ways to get around. Public transportation is available and biking, however, it is much faster to park and walk where ever you want to go.

My husband and I love sharing the cultural traditions and history of this great city and we have devoted our lives to building up the next generation of great people and musicians. We are very devoted to New Orleans, our family, and our close knit community. We love life and the pursuit of happiness and enjoy sharing that pursuit with others in our daily lives and in our travel. We have been blessed to enjoy fantastic hospitality (even during Katrina) and we look forward to the opportunity to pay it forward. We also love restaurants, listening, dancing and teaching music of all kinds, traveling and family time. We love Air BnB because it is a community of very cool people who respect each other and really want to enjoy what is good, beautiful and true in the world. We are very friendly and welcome new friends with open arms (or a hand shake if you prefer). I am a business owner, event planner, mentor and mother of 5 and my husband is the Instrumental Music Director for one of the top middle school band programs in the City/State and he and his program were even featured in the series "Treme" We have lived in this neighborhood for 15 years and we have seen a lot of changes over the years but one thing remains the same and that is the genuine kindness that is so natural to New Orleans. They say, "You can't judge a book by it's cover" and that is the truth.
