Walking distance to parks, restaurants, shopping and a hot yoga studio. Downtown, the university district, and hospitals can be reached by bus, bike or car.
This 1907 house still has some original charm left including squeaky stairs/floors.
Guests have the entire upstairs to themselves - master bath and bedroom with walk-in closet, as well as 2nd room (day bed, built in desk and reading chair).
Guests must be animal friendly.
There is space in the shed for bikes, a motorcycle or other large equipment. I have a 1 car carport and additional 1-2 car parking space available in the alley.
Laundry in-house, wifi available, but no TVs in the house.
Shared areas include kitchen, living and dining room as well as mud/laundry room and yard (front and back, front porch and deck off the back).
Since this is a shared house, I like to ensure everyone has their own space. I kindly ask guests to refrain from entering my bedroom (first floor, next to dining table). I’ll ensure your space is likewise respected in return.
You'll most likely make at least one new friend here - Walli The Dog. He is as sweet as they come. For the benefit of his health please don't feed Walli. On nice days he is allowed to be in the backyard unsupervised (as long as the gates are closed) so you are welcome to let him out if he asks you.
And no worries about dog hair in your space. He does not feel comfortable going up the stairs and won't ever be in your space. The common areas, however, are his kingdom.
This house has a no smoking policy (although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back), as well as a no drug policy.
I understand that accidents happen. I ask that you please let me know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible. However, if there are costs involved, you will be responsible for them.
I am happy to socialize but will give you your peace and quiet as well.
Me and Wallis (the dog) are happy to share our home with you. We are low key and pride ourselves in offering a stress free, happy and positive environment.
