Convenient flat in London to spend a night or two.
Inma's flat in London is a lovely place to spend the night. Almost outside the congestion zone on the northeast, it is easy to get on the bus as the bus stop is just a few steps right outside, the tube is 0.5 mile away, walking may or not be an issue. I know it was not for us. There are two stores, one right outside the flat, another 2 minutes away for anything that comes up, which is really convenient in that aspect as well. Or not. The one outside is open 24 hours so it gets noisy and it can be bad at 1:00 or 2:00 A.M., some days. Spending one night or two there, it may be okay, but spending around 10 as we did, you get tired of the noise right outside coming from the store that you once thought it was good idea to have it open day and night. The flat was somewhat hot (not outside) so the windows needed to be left open during the night.
I asked if there was something to be done about that, we did not get an answer. So, there is room for improving in this area--communication. Something that also needs attention is the amenities as the kitchen had no paper towels at all. So keeping the counter top clean required improvisation. Another area in the flat to check is the toilet area as there was not enough toilet paper there, which we ended up buying in. Forget the paper towels for the kitchen, but at least get me enough toilet paper if I am staying at your place. After all, I am not staying for free.
Other than that, Inma's flat is still a lovely place to spend a few days in London if the opportunity arises....I know we could consider it again if we had the opportunity. In fact I would certainly recommend it anyone.
