Cléméntine’s place was an incredibly lucky find! Her airbnb is located very close to the vieux port and is a much better deal then the other accomodations we looked at for the area. It wasn't until the end of our stay that we realized this place's neighborhood was also full of excellent stores, bakeries, and public spaces and much fewer tourists then the vieux port; be sure to explore to the north of this location!
Cléméntine was fairly easy to communicate with- some difficulties arose when our group's bus arrived late, we missed the rendez-vous time, I wasn't able to contact her throuh the airbnb app. However, because Cléméntine lives and works so close to the location of her airbnb, we were quickly able to make contact with her in person. Cléméntine was an excellent host and esily accessible for any questions we may have.
A final note on the rooms themselves: there is space for 3 people to sleep, and a living area with a couch. We had 4 people staying at this location for an enjoyable time, and while we would recommend only having 3 people staying in this room, 4 people could stay in here and be reasonably comfortable (though with 4 the space in somewhat tight). The windows offer great veiws of the city and the seas, and there is a refridgerator, freezer, and kitchenette for most cold food storage / prepration you may need to do.
In all, we had an excellent stay, and would highly recommend this location for anyone wanting to visit Marseille!
