The view is absolutely wonderful. While the patio is narrow, there is room for a chair and a small table for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine with the entire city at your feet - from Sacre Coeur on your left to the tip of the Eiffel Tower peeking over a rooftop on your right. The photos shown are NOT zoomed. The apartment is charming in an old world aristocratic way but also extremely comfortable. It was perfect for a family of 3. Air conditioning worked great one hot still evening. Second bed (fold out couch in alcove) was very comfortable, not like the back-spasm inducing ones in US hotels and more than half the alcove is made private by closing a French door with a shade, so only the archway joins the alcove to the living/dining room. Very quiet with double paned glass windows closed. Grocer and several metro stops nearby. We walked everywhere and took metro back. We did not keep a car, but always noticed open spaces in front of the building. Charming host greeted us and was available on email throughout our stay for questions about alarm system, aircon remote control, iron whereabouts, etc.
Please note that the entry level has apartments around the elevator - which we didn't realize until a resident came out of one of the non-descript doors - so be mindful of your noise level coming and going. Only small drawback is that only one set of keys is provided.
