This private apartment is located directly at Mariannenplatz in Kreuzberg. Kreuzberg is something else. It's unique in many ways, strongly influenced by its Turkish immigrants, punk lifestyle and alternative culture of the past as well as its proximity to the Berlin Wall and recent gentrification.
You will find many hidden courtyards, beautiful parks, cool cafes and great food. It's a fantastic place for wandering and people watching.
The apartment is newly furnished and has a cozy and chic atmosphere at the same time with its sofas and couches in both the kitchen and living/bed room and many lights everywhere providing a comfortable space for relaxing as well as for working.
The kitchen is quite large and offers everything needed for cooking.
Guests will have access to all the amenities in the kitchen and bathroom. The entire wardrobe in the bedroom with hangers will be for your use. Basically you have access to everything in the apartment - nothing will be 'locked up'.
As everyone has a bond to their home, I'm expecting that my guests use the apartment and everything coming with it as it is their own home. I just moved into the apartment recently, so everything is new and thoughtfully chosen and furnished. I would prefer my guests enjoying their time in the apartment on their own without having guests coming over and in a rather decent way.
I'm a 'real' Berliner loving to travel around the world. Easy going, like to travel on low as well as high budget. I like to meet new people in the countries I travel to and stay in touch with them if we connect.
Now I have started also hosting and I'm really excited about hosting people from all over the world!
