Private room in a 3-bedroom apartment (11th floor) in Ba Dinh District. It is located in a quiet alley, and is close to Tay Ho, Lotte, wet markets, gym, and fun nightlife. The room comes with its own bathroom, is spacious and quiet, and has tons of natural light. Also has amazing views of Hanoi(especially for sunrise). There is a TV (with cable), wifi, a cute kitchen, and a washing machine in the apartment, along with free motorbike parking.
The apartment is a very spacious one, especially for a chaotic city like Hanoi. It is on the 11th floor so the noise is at a minimum and gives the apartment a nice and peaceful vibe. There is a rooftop, although a bit difficult to access, but can give you some of the best views Hanoi has to offer. The hardwood floors give the apartment a classy and clean looks and the amenities are very useful as well. There are also heaters and air conditioners available depending on the weather. This place is quite luxury for Vietnam and the neighbors are all very friendly.
Guests are allowed to access all parts of the apartment. There are two bathrooms available for use, a kitchen and a washing machine. There is also cable TV and a small section of books that can be borrowed as well.

My roommates from France and I will be staying in the other two rooms. We are both creatives, she is a fashion designer and me an aspiring filmmaker, so it could lead to some interesting discussions and activities if you are interested in these things :). I am also interested in meeting new people and showing people a good experience in a city that I have come to love, so I can show my guests around the neighborhood and Hanoi, take them to some of the best restaurants in Hanoi and explore the very fun Hanoi nightlife. I want to make sure people enjoy their stays as much as they can when they come to Hanoi so I will try my best to accommodate and help with anything you need!

The wifi does not work in the room :/, but we are working on improving it. It works better in the bathroom or living room. Also sometimes there is construction outside the window (hopefully finished soon). It can be a bit noisy but its Hanoi so it is expected.
Also electric bills can be very expensive so please try and conserve energy when using the air conditioner. Long term guests (around 1 month) will have to pay a fee for the electric bill but no more than $22.

Im Troy from New York and I'm currently living in Hanoi as an English teacher with dreams of becoming a writer and filmmaker. I love traveling and I've been to over 30 countries. I also love to meet new and interesting people and hear their unique perspectives on life.
