This charming guest house backs up to the Biltmore Estate forest, and is a short drive from downtown Asheville, the antiques district, restaurants, breweries, and hiking trails. We have recently restored this beautiful little cabin, which is one of the original Biltmore buildings. You'll love the comfortable bed, front porch, gorgeous decor, wooded surroundings & new bathroom with heated tile floors and a 1933 claw foot tub. Perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway and solo travelers.
- Please remove shoes in the house.
- Please take care to not leave out food or crumbs so that our house stays pest free- it is a cabin the woods, so this is very important!
- If anything gets stained or damage during your stay, please let us know ASAP so we can address it.
An Asheville local, I moved back to my beautiful hometown after living in Ireland and Italy for a number of years. I met my Italian husband while walking the Camino de Santiago in 2007, and after walking 500 miles together I eventually moved to Italy and we got married. In Italy I worked with mountaintop farmers, played Alpine fiddle music, taught swing dance lessons and ran a natural soapmaking company.
We moved back to the US in 2014, and we love meeting people visiting our gorgeous mountain town! I am a lover of everything vintage and old-timey. I teach old-time and Italian farmhouse cooking classes, am in avid pie maker, help run (and teach for) the local swing dance organization, and you can find me playing guitar and banjo in many of the 1920's and 30's jazz bands around town. My husband and I also love playing old-time music together (he plays banjo and I play fiddle).
