This suite has a private entry with bed, bath, and kitchenette. Guests love the memory foam mattresses (specify if you need one or both twin beds), the great shower, and the extensive selection of organic coffees and teas in the kitchenette, which has a mini-fridge, toaster oven and hot plate, as well as plates, cups, bowls, spoons, etc. The patio is open to all and guests often meet over a glass of wine at the common table.
State law forbids specific smoking areas but light 420 outside is ok.
I admit I like guests who keep it on the clean and quiet side, but The Livelyhood is an easygoing household and we're pretty accommodating if you're open and communicative. Vaping and 420 use is acceptable on the back porch of the tearoom suite, btw.

There's something awkwardly beautiful about strangers trusting each other to share a roof, and the longer I host with Airbnb, the better I feel about humanity! I was surprised to discover how much I enjoy offering a resting place for people as they pass through in pursuit of their lives. Hosting them (you!) reminds me the world is still a friendly place full of good people.
The Livelyhood is an umbrella term for how I make ends meet in the new "gig economy" - Airbnb and private rental rooms, brand and marketing consultation, writing/editing services, and interior staging and design. I'm also ordained to officiate weddings and other ceremonies.
I get excited about art, architecture, archeology, geology, history, language, ancient cultures, yoga, mysticism/esoterica, world travel, poetry, literature, film, deep ecology...stuff like that! I've lived in Washington State since 1990 and can make recommendations on everything from day hikes to beach trips to rainforest adventures.
Visit the State Capitol campus, tour the marble-filled dome where the legislature meets, browse the Farmers Market (open four days a week through December), or check out The Evergreen State College, Olympia's renowned public liberal arts school. April guests should not miss the Procession of the Species, the oft-imitated-but-never-duplicated community celebration of the natural world.
If you need a clean, warm, art-filled and life-affirming place to land for a few days, the Livelyhood is your Om away from Om.
