Другие важные подробности
Our house dates back to the 1860's and comes with its own little quirks ( light switches in strange places, lots of old solid wooden doors and very thick walls.) It has been updated to offer all the comforts of a more modern home. There are four bedrooms each with it own bathroom. One of the bedrooms has an original clawfoot tub (no shower), all three other bathrooms have showers.
We have been renting out our home for the past seven years and everyone who has stayed with us has loved staying in one of the oldest houses in Athens and on one of our most historic streets. We know you will be charmed by it too!
My husband and I are both from Ireland. We have lived in many places including Rosslare, Dublin, Harare (Zimbabwe), Boston, and Charlottesville but have spent the last 25 years in Athens, Georgia. Mark teaches Sociology at the University of Georgia and I work as a Social Worker. We have two children: Nicolas Tendai who makes wonderful wire wrapped jewelry and lives in San Francisco, CA, and Zara who works in the field of Public Relations in Denver. CO. We all love to travel!
