Escape the chaos of Manhattan and step into a cozy brownstone home in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant. It's conveniently located 2 blocks from the Utica A/C subway station, so getting to/from Manhattan is a breeze.
The room and apartment is bright, cheery, and cozy with exposed brick walls . This is a perfect home base to get some work done on your laptop, sip on some coffee/tea, and visit the best of what NYC has to offer.
Guests have access to the kitchen, main living area, and the shared bathroom. There is a washer and dryer available in the basement (takes quarters, $1.50 to wash, $1.00 to dry).

I'm happy to provide recommendations on transportation, dining, shopping, and other questions during your stay. I will also be in the apartment during the stay in the other bedroom, but I'm generally at work 7am-7pm M-F. I'll also make breakfast and coffee in the morning, if preferred.

There is no TV here! There are plenty of other activities to keep you busy in NYC :)
- Composting in effect! No food scraps in the trash as they are collected in a freezer bag for weekly composting.
- Recycling is important to me. Please separate paper and plastic/cans/bottles in their appropriate bins.
-Shoes off in the apartment (there is a shoe rack inside)
Greetings! I'm a new Airbnb host, but I'm excited to share my home and welcome travelers to Brooklyn, NY. A little more about me: I'm a West Coast native, but am now embracing NYC for all that it is. I moved from a traditional corporate career to focus on my passion in sustainable food, and I'm now at a local food startup based in Manhattan. I have 23 unique stamps on my passport, so traveling needless to say one of my lifelong interests. Hospitality is important to me from the giving and receiving side, so my approach to being a guest and host are similar: I treat my spaces with respect and care because of how it can impact an experience.
