A bright apartment in a hip neighborhood! Central Air, laundry, jacuzzi size tub, balcony, and roof access! Near trendy cafes, galleries, and bars!
A 30 minute train ride to Manhattan!
This apartment is regular-looking on the outside, and pretty damned nice within. The tub is like a swimming pool, the ceilings are high, the light plentiful. When it's warm, the balcony and roof are great to hang out on, and central air can cool one off. When it's cold, the heat is plentiful, a warm bath is luxurious, and there are books all around for jumping into. There's also a washer and dryer and dishwasher in the apartment, so doing laundry and dishes is a breeze. It's an excellent refuge in the busy world of New York in general, and Bushwick in particular.

My cat is possibly the most lovable creature ever born and she can fly the coop or stick around.
Who am I? Hard questions, and even harder to write about on a profile! A student of humans and their ways; a good conversationalist, and a generous person; a graduate student and teacher of American sociology; a singer and writer; tidy and organized and pretty quiet; a man of the Left. We can have fiery conversations about politics and philosophy; or discuss the arts or history or travel, or I'm good at keeping to myself too and just exploring.
I recently recommended these 5 books in the Brooklyn Rail, maybe you'd like them too:
“In Dreams Begin Responsibilities” and Other Stories by Delmore Schwartz
The Agony of the American Left by Christopher Lasch
Secret Historian: The Life and Times of Samuel Steward, Professor, Tattoo Artist, and Sexual Renegade by Justin Spring
Memoirs of a Revolutionary by Victor Serge
Untimely Meditations by Friedrich Nietzsche
Hope to see you soon.
