Our top floor flat (three sets of stairs!) is 10 minutes walk from the harbourside and 5 minute walk to local high street (bars & restaurants). Bristol Temple Meads station: 30 mins walk; 5 min taxi. Bristol airport: 20 min drive. We welcome everyone: tourists, gay couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, airport workers, musicians. We are very busy people and sometimes we don't get to meet our guests as much as we would like to. You may be welcomed by our super friendly Boarder Terrier.
Our small little double room is very bright and has a great view over the South of the city through to the green hills. You have access to the kitchen to make yourself tea & coffee or cook if you want to.
You can drop your bags off from 13:00, but we can't guarantee the room will be ready until 17:00. If it is ready beforehand, we'll usually let you know or it'll be obvious as the bed is made with folded towels on it. Street parking is all around the flat free in evenings and weekend. 09:00 - 17:00 week days you will need a permit from us at £3 per day; we do not have private parking.
All areas of the flat, bathroom, separate loo etc except for our bedroom and the front living space (which is also Nicholas' workspace).
Другие важные подробности
As we mentioned, we have a little Boarder Terrier from Monday to Thursday usually. On Fridays and over the weekend she goes and stays somewhere else as a therapy dog.
There are also several flights of stairs to get to your room, so we are not, unfortunately, accessibility friendly. :(
And, if you want milk in your tea you'll need to buy some as we don't drink it! Sorry. Plenty of coffee and herbal tea though.
Simply to treat our apartment as you're own. Be nice, polite and tidy.
We have had bad experiences with people coming back late and drunk. If this is your intention, we are not the right place for you.
Lost keys will be charged at £21 paid in cash.
You're welcome to use the kitchen, but the front room is our private space.
As mentioned, we are very busy so please don't rate us lowly if you don't get to meet us. We try and meet everyone but sometimes, what with our jobs and guests check-in and leaving times, we don't get to meet everyone. If we are at home, we will be more than happy to have a chat, recommend where to go, what to see according to your interests. We're both very busy and so sometimes you may not even met us! We leave early in the morning so if you have any issues or questions and we haven't had a chance to meet yet, message us. Also, we don't drink milk so if you want milk in your tea, you'll need to bring some with you!
Lukasz and Nicholas will welcome into their flat. Easy going and super busy, you probably won't see much them, so come and go as you please. Lukasz runs the Bristol Style Collective (let him know if you fancy getting your hair or nails done, or have a massage - male and female alike) which keeps him pretty busy. Nicholas is a school leader and works in Bristol and overseas.
Both are relaxed and friendly and LOVE travelling. Their aim is to make friends with someone in every part of the world they visit to exchange places to stay.
