The Chalet is a lovely spacious room for 2 people alongside our busy family home. Comfy bed, great shower and the room is quiet so you will get a good rest before travelling the next day.
** NO HOBS or OVEN ** The kitchen has a Microwave, Fridge, Jug and Toaster.
To avoid disappointment, please plan for either a light meal or to dine out.
Tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided.

A walk and cycle track has just been completed from the township to Haast Beach. It’s 5km through native bush and then a short walk to beach. If you chose to cycle back along the main road, it’s a further 7km.
We have two mountain bikes and helmets you are welcome to use.

Haast is generally a quiet wee town with friendly and helpful people.
It is a very safe place but for peace of mind, do lock your car and Chalet doors when you go out.

Hi We are a family of 7. Myself, two teenagers, a much loved cat, two much loved indoor rabbits and one much loved free range rabbit in the back yard. We are pretty busy but also laid back and relaxed so will possibley greet you barefoot and sandy or maybe even covered in paint. Sometimes the exterior of our home appears a chaotic mess due to kids, kids stuff, kids friends stuff, work stuff and just other stuff...but inside the Chalet, your room is lovely and clean, beautifully presented and private from our main home. Our mottoes.... “it’s a circus, but it’s our circus” and “ don’t ask, don’t (Website hidden by Airbnb) if there’s something you need to make your stay more enjoyable, please ask. We hope you will enjoy your stay and leave refreshed to go and explore our amazing country side. Thank you! Robyn, KC, Billie'dkid, Gonzo, Mango, Ollie and Missy. :O)
