Общение с гостями
All of my guests are welcomed into my home as friends. I am happy to interact with guests as much or as little as they please - it is entirely up to you. My preference is to be friendly and hear about all the fun you are having during your stay!
I've hosted friends and family from all over the world and I enjoy helping everyone explore this great city and make the most of their stay here. Having extensively used Airbnb during my own travels, I am excited to open my place for fellow Airbnbers and incorporate the best practice I've seen from other AirB&B hosts all over the world !

Please tell me your preferred breakfast food and I will do my best to stock it. Greenwich Village also has amazing coffee / breakfast and brunch options! Below are some favourites.
TO ALL GUESTS: I only accept guests that read my entire listing as I find that guests have the best experience when they read my listing in its entirety, as it likely answers any questions you have. So when you write to me to request to book my apartment, please use the code word "BASEBALL" in your message and I will know that you have read my entire listing, after which I can complete the booking. Thanks!
If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back
Not suitable for pets, as we have two wonderful cats. They have an automatic feeder, and I will make sure their litter is clean. If I am not in town and you have the entire apartment to yourself, you have the option of having my catsitter come to clean the litter or you can do it yourself (it's not that bad a task, and to do it every other day is sufficient).
Please let me know your arrival and departure times in advance. If you need an arrangement outside of these windows simply discuss it with me in advance.
We are on the 5th floor of a beautiful walk-up building. I am happy to help with your luggage if you have a lot. There are not a lot of stairs between floors so it sounds worse than it is.
Noise to a minimum after 10pm at night.
If you should run into neighbours, I prefer you tell them you are friends of mine rather than mentioning Airbnb
I am a passionate, caring, "do-gooder" policy analyst working for the United Nations in New York. I have worked in the field of human rights and conflict prevention all around the world and have helped vulnerable populations in some of the world’s toughest war zones. I love travel and meeting new people and have recently opened my home to AirB&B guests as a way to continue to do so, while showing them the best of NYC.
And Greenwich village really is the best of NYC! I have lived here for the past several years and completely love it - it is truly one of the best neighborhoods in the city - lots of colorful characters, charm, and myriad options for restaurants, bars, coffee shops, everywhere! Staying with a local is the best way to really experience a new place and learn all of the cool spots that you won't find in travel guides, etc.
The more pressing the problems we face and the more daunting the world's challenges, the more important it is to keep sight of the satisfactions of life. I love so many things: learning languages, exploring new countries and cultures, amateur photography, collecting art, urban design, architecture, punditry, theater and film, live music, writing, underwater photography, and many outdoor and indoor sports. I am also a yoga and mindfulness instructor and my apartment is filled with good vibrations and energy. ;)
As a guest, I have usually have very full schedules during the day and evenings, so will not be much of an imposition. I am neat, careful and respectful.
