The stay is ideal for travelers looking to explore the local culture of the Nilgiris. Coonoor is a beautiful laid back destination and is best explored with knowledgeable locals who can give insight into the customs and traditions.
Your stay is at a cosy room in our family house. Depending on your interests, you can experience the following when you stay for 3 days or longer with us:
- Yoga session to start the morning
- Badaga cooking session that introduces you to unique flavours
- Village visits with opportunity for nature hikes and interactions with local communities
Few other activities may be included depending on the length of your stay. If there are any local events like temple festivals happening we can take you on visits or you can walk with us and explore the town on foot with its beautiful tea gardens and places of worship. Stay includes home cooked south indian breakfast.
You have access to all common areas of the house like gardens, terrace for yoga and living area.
