I am sorry you were not happy with the accommodations. When I asked you as I try to ask all guest staying with us, "How is your stay so far?" "..Things are fine.." is the response I received I did not get this response until now.
So, If this was the case you should have left asap. My main question is why would you stay if you were not happy with the accommodations?
To address your concerns.
The height restriction of 6 2" feet ceiling in the kitchen is in the listing please read carefully next time and there are two pictures of this. I will make it more detailed so this does not happen again.
I have never had a complaint about the beds. To note the place is always booked. Someone would have mentioned this about the beds so I find this quite odd. I am happy they, however, are not soft and lumpy which leads to back issues.
For the water stains on the trim, the furnace water pump plastic tank leaked a month ago and left a stain. Also, anyone staying at my place does not know how to keep water in the shower, so I will be installed a shower door very soon to stop this issue.
We have had our first child she is a 7-months baby, I have not had the time to paint the trim and install a shower door. I try my best, this is a cosmetic issue and everything important like life itself, hot water, clean sheets and air quality is taken care of first before this.
For the carpet stain, another Airbnb guest like yourself spilled a cup of tea on the carpet and I have tried and so has a carpet cleaning company to get this out. I don't have the money to replace the carpet its only 2 years old.
I would not rent my place if it is not liveable and very clean, everything from the plumbing to the drywall was done in 2016 it all brand new. Not like some places you don't know what's behind the walls.
I have already installed a $2,000, HRV in 2017 for the best air quality in my home. And every basement requires a dehumidifier, I will be replacing this one this month.
Again I am truly sorry you were not happy, I would only want guests to stay if they are happy with the accommodations. Airbnb has a great system to avoid this issue, you should have a look into this instead of leading us down this road.
The previous guest actually wanted to stay for another week longer, they loved the place and were happy with our accommodations and many have been and many more will be.
Some of these issues are already addressed to date. I will be making the appropriate changes that are necessary. Thank you for your feedback, however, I wish you would have sent me a message directly. Instead of this.
Coming soon September 2018:
Will update pictures, with new dining table and height restriction of 6' feet 2" inches.
