Comfortable room on second floor with queen bed and private bath a few steps down the hall. Our home is situated on 6 acres with walking/hiking/snowshoeing trails right outside our front door. We are centrally located between Burlington, Middlebury and Waitsfield. We, along with our friendly 11 year old golden retriever, look forward to welcoming you.
Our home is in a quiet neighborhood of the Vermont countryside. In addition to the private bedroom and bath, you can have private use of our living room or family room for reading and relaxing. We have a screened in porch, large deck (with views of the Hogback mountains) and many landscaped areas with rock walls and flower gardens. We are only a short drive to many northern Vermont attractions: beautiful Lake Champlain, hiking trails, multiple breweries and wineries, Shelburne Farms, Shelburne Museum, city of Burlington, alpine and cross country skiing (Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Bolton, Stowe, Sleepy Hollow, etc), etc.
Access to your private room will be through the front door of our house. Feel free to bring breakfast items to put in our refrigerator. Feel free to wander around our yard, enjoy our screened in porch and/or deck.

We like clear communication about arrivals and any special needs you may have so that we can prepare for your stay. We appreciate guests who are respectful of our home and quiet if staying out late. We love to travel and truly enjoy the outdoors. Our favorite outdoor activities include hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing, x-country skiing and biking. Greg plays the piano and saxophone and Nancy is in a women's hiking club and book club.
Family is important to us. We have 2 grown kids and 2 grandsons.
We have a golden retriever (Lucy) that we adore and spend many hours taking her for walks and playing stick in our beautiful rural neighborhood.
We look forward to meeting you.
