The Ranch is a fun place to stay. It's a dormitory, with rows of rooms in a very utilitarian building. But the room was clean, wi-fi ready, and even a TV with netflix. The communal areas are cool, with a big kitchen and common room. It was not at all busy while we were there, so we had the place almost to ourselves most of the time.
The biggest feature of this stay were the farm animals. There are a few dozen on the property- mostly housed in a safe fenced off space beside the building. But many of the ducks, rabbits, geese and even some little goats wander around the property. The goats [and the pig!] and are quite ready to accept a scratch and pat on the head.
Very good value, and comfy if you're not fussy.
