Welcome to this two story home built right on Miramar Beach, steps away from the beach and with magnificent 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Pillar Point and the Princeton Harbor. The home is also steps away from the Miramar Beach Restaurant as well as being located on Mirada road, which is part of the Coastside trail leading as far north as the harbor and all the way south into the charming town of Half Moon Bay. Miramar Beach is a destination spot for travelers all over the bay area.
The home is a beach front getaway with 2 levels and a reverse floor plan in which the living area, dining area and kitchen are located on the second floor with an upper level deck all with stunning views, and the bedrooms are on the ground or first floor. The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor. One is a master suite with its own entrance, bathroom, and walk-in closet. The two other bedrooms are located just down the hall with a separate floor-heated bathroom just across from them. There are brand new flat screen TVs with cable in the master bedroom, the bedroom at the far end of the hall (Yellow Room) and upstairs in the entertainment area. The middle bedroom (Bird Room) does not have a TV. All bedrooms have lots of storage including dressers and closets.
A staircase from the bottom bedroom level leads up to a large open floor living space which includes a newly remodeled kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining area and an entertainment area. Enjoy the spectacular views from anywhere upstairs. Additionally there are two smaller room/areas leading to the deck. One can be used as a nice cozy spot to sit and read, work on your computer (internet included) or just take in the view. The other room is an enclosed patio with a large wooden bar built in the 1950s and for kicking back with a drink in your bathing suit, weather permitting. Both of these room/areas have sliding glass doors to the deck that lead directly downstairs to the oceanfront road. The deck is a great place to catch some rays, whale watch or enjoy one of our stunning California coastal sunsets. There is plenty of parking and you also have one covered carport area for a vehicle as well.
The home is located on the north side of a world renowned jazz club established in 1964, an Event Center and the Ebb Tide café. We do not rent the home when other events are occurring so rest assured that you will have privacy and quiet. There is also a cottage on the property where the caretaker resides. If you see a Sunday that is marked unavailable and you are interested in attending a music concert and including a Sunday night with your vacation, contact us to discuss options.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT/DAMAGE INSURANCE
100% of the rental payment is due with the signed reservation along with a copy of your driver’s license. Once received, your reservation dates will be secured and blocked out on our calendar.
Please help us keep the Douglas Beach House in good condition:
• No Smoking
• No Pets
• Please watch for luggage around doorways, stairways, walls and furniture
• Take care of our linens and household items for stains and damage
• Do not shower with excessive sand. Rinse off outside first.
• Doors should be locked at all times when no guests are present. There are several doors so ensure all are locked when exiting.
• Guests are to remain in designated areas and northern deck. Guests are not allowed in the Event Center, the front cottage, or the Ebb Tide Cafe deck if it is not open.
• Do not take anything out of Owner’s locked or designated cupboards, cabinets or storage areas.

Upon receiving your reservation fee, and a signed and dated copy of the Rental Agreement,
and your driver’s license, a rental confirmation email will be sent to you.
Upon receipt of your full payment, we will email you check-in instructions and your
personalized code for the front door keypad.
OCCUPANCY and PARKING
• Maximum occupancy is for six (6) adults (12 years old and over) and up to three (3)
children unless otherwise arranged.
• Occupancy is limited to guests as indicated on the rental agreement
PARKING – Located just outside the main entry door and in one carport (carport is small and
you park at your own risk.)
When you arrive, our house will be clean and set up with linens. A small supply of paper
towels, toilet paper and limited cleaning supplies will be provided.
Daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.
Trash Bin is in the back with recycling cans for aluminum, paper, plastic and cardboard. Pick
up day is on Tuesday morning and so all trash should be put out by Monday evening if guest
happens to be renting that evening.
• Prior to checkout, all dishes should be washed and can be left in the dishwasher. (Start
the dishwasher when you leave.)
• Beds left unmade and sheets and pillowcases left on.
• Towels should be hung up in the bathroom.
• Kitchen trash should be taken out to trash bins and/or recycle cans. Do not leave
excessive amounts of trash in the house upon checkout.
• Ensure ALL doors are locked including Main North door, Master bedroom door, and the 3
doors that exit to decks. Ensure all windows downstairs are locked.
USE OF APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS
• Complete instructions for use of most appliances and TVs/DVDs will be provided. It is
expected that upmost care will be taken to use this equipment carefully. Questions
should be addressed to the property manager.
We know you must be very excited about your trip to the California Coast and San Francisco
Bay Area. Please contact us anytime to help with recommendations for anything. Upon request and booking you will be sent a contract that you will need to sign and list First and Last name of each person staying with you along with a scanned copy of your driver's license the email it to me.
The caretaker that lives in the front cottage will be available if should have any questions. Her name is Claire. You will receive Claire's phone number once you have booked. You may call or text her if there should be anything you need.
