This property is excellent in so many ways, I am not even sure where to start.
My favorite part was probably the amount of space that you get to enjoy.
Taipei is a pretty busy city, it's hard to find an indoor place where you can really settle in, relax and be like "this space is mine". That kind of feeling is what you are getting when you stay in this place. That won't be as important to those of you who are planning to be out all day, but I actually spent some time inside as well, so it was huge for me.
The counter / table area on the second floor is large enough that you can use it as a work desk (enough space for computer and many physical file folders, binders etc). There are plenty of plugs (North American friendly) and the wifi is fast enough.
If you have read any of my other reviews, you'll know I am a laundry fiend. The laundry setup is real solid in this place, washing machine inside second floor bathroom so you can just toss everything in and hit the showers. There is a little bit of space to hang up clothes in the washroom but a real good amount of space to hang clothes to dry in the bedroom. The air circulation is good enough that you'll be able to dry your clothes inside.
The stairs up to the second floor will be hard to navigate for older folks (50+), they are kind of narrow, so if you have heavy luggage, that's gonna be a challenge.
I don't cook and always eat out, so can't really comment on the kitchen facilities, but they were clean and look to be in good working condition.
The bed is comfortable and there are actually curtains in the room. The A/C is more than powerful enough to cool the bedroom down and you will not be bothered by the noise.
The balcony is lit, amazing view ~ !
Transportation, as advertised, really close to both Da'an (大安) and Technology Building (科技大樓), something like 5 and 8 minutes walk respectively. Neighborhood is awesome too, many places to eat and Da'an sports center is like a 10 minutes jog away.
Hit me up if you have any other questions regarding this place ~
