Casa Huizteco ( Weez-tec-o ) is 25 minutes up from Taxco and it is a Southern Mexican hideaway in the Sierra Madre mountain range. 8,000 feet above sea level, this exclusive house is surrounded by a protected, old growth forest. It sits at the top of the mountain and on the edge of a cliff looking south towards the Mexican countryside. It's a little slice of heaven! Once you go up there it is very difficult going back down to civilization. An ecological house without electricity!
Casa Huizteco is an isolated getaway, 8000 feet above sea level, high up in the Sierra Madre mountains of Southern Mexico. The house has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It is an ecological house that does not have electricity. Instead we use the three fireplaces and candles at night. It is very romantic. The house has it's own spring water for washing and hot showers. Other than the lack of electricity the guest will not realize it's eco value.
We will meet you at the airport or the bus station for an extra fee of $75 or in the town of Taxco for $15 to bring you up to the house to show you where the house is. Guests will have full access to the whole house and it's surrounding gardens. They will also have access to the beautiful protected forest that surrounds the house.

There are a variety of services we can provide depending on what the guest wants. From full service with a driver / tour guide, and a cook, to no service if the guest chooses to be left alone. Right now the $200 / night is priced for service with a cook. Please let us know what food allergies you have. For the most part we use organically grown food produced by local farmers. A driver will add $125 / day.
