My place is close to Dublin airport and great views!. Imagine somewhere which is a rural escape, yet only 40 minutes drive from Dublin! You’ll love my place because of the tranquil country hideaway atmosphere, the lovely views of beautiful countryside, and the proximity of my place to lots of interesting places to visit, things to do, and lovely places to eat. Also, it is really convenient to the buzzing city of Dublin.
- No shoes upstairs! All guests are welcome to alcoholic beverages not included in the welcome drinks, but they must place appropriate monies in the honesty box in the drawing room. No suitcases on beds in case of bed bug infestation. No smoking in house but there is a lovely patio and a lavender scented terrace which smokers will enjoy. Children are most welcome and I was a Montessori teacher in my youth. However, they must be properly behaved, supervised, and not spoil my house or break things. All breakages must be paid for and the deposit will be used for any breakages.
I am a friendly and sociable person with a happy outlook and a good sense of humour. I really love my family and my animals and I also have a great network of friends from all walks of life. One of my favourite movies is Mrs. Doubtfire with the late great Robin Williams. So many favourite books, hard to list them. The last great novel I read was Rebecca Miller's fascinating story of an 18th century Jewish pedlar who was reincarnated as a fly. Favourite music includes fabulous Amy Winehouse, Imelda May, Kodaline, Otis Redding, Lou Reed. I love all kinds of food, although I end up eating fish and salad most days. My life's motto is Carpe Diem and I hope I try to live up to that motto, appreciating all that life can offer.
