Vieux Nice is where all the action is. You step out the door and there are restaurants, cafes, art galleries, shops, bars, nightlife, 1 minute walk to Cour Saleya, the beach and a stroll on the Promenade des Anglais. Colline du Chateaux with its waterfall and splendid views is 250m to the east.
Double glazed windows keep the noise out of the apartment when its time to sleep (if ever).
4 radiators for cold weather, we found 1 was enough for us in January!
But if you feel the cold, there is one for each bedroom and a large one for the main area.
Redecorated February 2017, repainted in March 2017, brand new large 6 seater couch in living room, plus a sofabed (seats 2), new storage furniture. There is an extendable dining table , seats 4 to 8.
The entire apartment is available to guests.
Just please take care not to make a lot of noise going up and down the stairs late at night, as local people do live in the building! Also keep it quiet in the apartment, no parties and loud music.

We live in Australia, so unfortunately are unavailable to meet you much of the time. However, our concierge Bea, who is lovely, and handyman Yves, are available within one day to solve any problems. Bea will meet you with the keys and let you in. You will be able to call Bea when staying at the apartment. Bea can recommend places to visit and good bars/restaurant in the area. You will be sent her contact details after you book. She will then contact Yves if required.
Bea has been looking after the place for 6 months and is very reliable and friendly, the guests all seem to have found her very helpful.

Best NOT to hire a car if staying in Vieux Nice. The streets are narrow and there is nowhere to park. Everywhere in Nice is accessible on foot, the public transport is excellent. Everyone walks everywhere.
If you bring a car, you will have to pay for a park in a carpark some distance from the apartment. All. of the little towns nearby are easily accessed not he train.
Its really a waste of money unless you intend to go driving into the countryside. If so, I would just get one for the few days you intend to do this.
