Simple Natural Home is an easy two minutes from Rt. 199, the Redwood Highway, and twelve minutes from I-5. Sit on the deck off my living room with a cup of hot tea and watch the sun go down behind the mountains. In the morning save money and time and enjoy a real breakfast on the deck with cereal and milk, locally baked bread and Oregon jam, fresh fruit, tea and French press coffee, and a smoothie made with my own home-grown garden ingredients -- all local, no-GMO and organic.
Simple Natural Home is located in a nice quiet private area in a quiet section of town. I keep things as "green" and chemical-free as possible, making most of my own cleaning and body products from simple and organic ingredients.
All amenities are included with the price; I do not charge extra for what I provide.
The guest room has space for two to sleep separately on twin size beds, one on a bed frame and one on the floor. There are no electronics (no EMFs) in the bedroom. The bed frame is unfinished and chemical-free and is topped with a natural Japanese tatami mat and a cotton Japanese shikibuton futon mattress. There are two Japanese style buckwheat pillows in the room available for use as well as king-size western-style pillows. Traditional Japanese kakefutons are available by request for a 100% authentic natural chemical-free Japanese sleeping experience. Bed linens are cotton, and in colder weather, I supply down comforters.
A 44" flat-screen TV with Apple TV is available in the office, along with a 32" TV connected to an aerial. I haven't watched TV for years, but guests have been able to watch their favorite ballgames and news this way. I do not have cable. A good wireless internet connection is available, as well as a wireless printer, Apple TV, and speaker-phones. The space would work to hold a small in-person conference or video conferencing.
I actually enjoy hosting guests, and provide more than the typical "here's your coffee and tea you can make yourself" breakfast. I'll offer a breakfast buffet including organic cereal, organic milk, organic apples and bananas, organic orange juice, locally-baked artisan bread, organic butter and Oregon-made jam or jelly. Typically I'll also make a smoothie in the VitaMix and use an apple, banana, kale from my garden (in season) and a sprig of mint leaves. Guests have really enjoyed this.
There's a large kitchen area with a dining table and four chairs and a breakfast bar. This is a spacious area with granite countertops and a gas range where two cooks could be preparing various parts of a meal at the same time. The evening sun streams into the dining area with a lovely view of trees and mountains in this "treehouse"-feeling space that's built on the hillside.
Laundry room is available for guests; just let me know ahead of time so the washer and dryer are available for guest use. I have a portable clothesline outside in the garden if guests would like to air-dry their laundry.
Just off the living room is a deck with views to the north and west. In mid-summer the deck is sheltered by an enormous mimosa tree with the most magnificent bright pink blossoms and giving off such a lovely fragrance. Sit and wait for a few minutes and listen, and most likely you'll hear and see the hummingbirds visiting the tops of the tree.
Yes, the tap water is safe to drink! And it's great for a shower or a bath. I have installed three Natural Action Technologies™ Structured Water Units to the water system on my house, so the entire water system of the house uses Structured Water. I water my yard and garden with Structured Water; the laundry and bathrooms and sinks and showers all use Structured Water. If you've ever heard about Natural Action Technologies™ Structured Water and would like to try it out for yourself and see, feel and taste the difference, be my guest!
I have a bouncy energetic 85-pound GoldenDoodle named Kona as my home companion. He is very sweet and loving and will be curious about every visitor. He may want to give guests more love and attention than they want to receive. He's just lookin' for love and would really enjoy playing with every new person who arrives.
I also run a business called BioFrequencies Clinic in my home office from 10-6 daily through the week. If clients may be present at the same time as an AirBNB guest, I'll let each client or guest know up front so that no one is surprised.
Guests have access to the guest bedroom with flexible bed space; the office with the desk and table and two TVs and DVD player; the guest bathroom; the laundry room; the living room with sofa and love seat and fireplace; the kitchen; the deck.

I will be here when you are here. I may be working at my desk, gardening or doing yard work, but I will be available.
If I look like I might be working at the computer, it's likely I'm working at the computer. I may or may not have time to chat with you due to the other businesses I'm running.
Let me know when you'd like breakfast, and I'll be up and prepare what you'd like. Typically I'll make coffee and a smoothie for myself in the morning, and for guests I'll also make cereal, toast, fruits, and a selection of tea available -- all of which will be organic, local, no-GMO choices.
If you'd like to prepare dinner for yourself in the kitchen, I'll be available to show you where to find things. If you don't see something or can't find something, just ask!
Kona will want to have a lot of interaction with guests. I'm aware that he's a big guy and not everyone is comfortable with a big dog. He just wants to play, wants to get you to play with him, and he will want your food. (But in a good way.) He's a great dog and very sweet. If he's getting to be too much, let me know. I try to figure out what's "about right" with guests as he's interacting with people, but sometimes I can't tell.
If you're traveling into Redwood country and the northern California coast and need suggestions or recommendations -- such as where the rest areas are located, or the best beach, or a place you've got to stop in the Redwoods, or restaurants between here and Eureka -- that's an area I'm quite familiar with. I'm also familiar with the area between here and Redding and a bit south of there. I've traveled the Oregon coast as well. So if you need a little travel information, just ask! And of course I'd be happy to share restaurant suggestions for the Grants Pass area.
Другие важные подробности
My home is as chemical-free and natural as possible. For the most part I use natural cleaning and personal products that I make myself. I try to keep things simple.
I make the choices I make about my home and my environment based on research I've done to enhance my own health and the health of the planet.
I have a lovely selection of (mostly organic) tea and unique hand-thrown ceramic mugs. Watching the summer sun set from the deck with a cup of tea in hand, or warming yourself by the fire on a chilly Oregon night with a cup of tea, just lovely.
I'm a mediator; I'm a distributor of structured water units; I'm in the process of writing a workbook and a book discussing health and personal empowerment and the holistic lifestyle; and I am now a certified BioAcoustic Research Associate, running what I call BioFrequencies Clinic here in my home. I'd be happy to talk about these things with you if you're interested, but I'll warn you in advance: I'm a storyteller. Get me talking and I might not stop! ;) I want to honor your time and your space while you're here.
- Not 420 friendly.
- No alcohol.
- The space is the guest bedroom in my home. I live here with my dog.
- Please just be respectful.
Quiet and contemplative, I love a tidy home, organic food, noonday sun on the deck, fire in the fireplace, and traveling for "work" with my dog to places like Mt. Shasta, the northern California coast, the Redwood forest, Crater Lake, and visiting my grandson -- all within a 2 1/2-hour drive from home!
