Both rooms feature in-room air-conditioners, and both have high-powered ceiling fans and atmospheric lighting. Bedrooms are a bright and airy space on the second floor of an 1860's townhouse located on Hudson's Warren Street. You will have your own separate entry from the street, and nice towels and sheets and any other blankets/pillows that you desire.
Furnishings are a mix of antiques and contemporary pieces, chosen with a designer's eye. The common room features a library of books including plays, fiction, natural history and biography.
All linens are high quality, fresh and clean for new guests with unscented detergent.
The rooms get quite a bit of sunlight, and the windows are sheathed in white linen floor-length curtains to provide for an ample night's sleep.
Bathroom is modern and spacious with multiple dimmer lights, claw foot bathtub, powerful modern showerhead, and a contemporary feel.
The extraordinary Le Perche is just a block away, with sophisticated French fare for breakfast, dinner or lunch. Countless other great eating establishments are a short stroll along Warren Street, including Mexican Radio, Cafe Le Gamin, Bruno's, Cascades, etc.
Hudson's great dining, antiques, art galleries, boutiques, and cultural venues (Helsinki, TSL, Basilica) are within a short walk.
The Amtrak railroad station is a 10 minute walk from here.
Ironing board, iron, hairdryer, and just about anything you might need will be provided by your hosts upon request.
Guests will have their own keys and have full access and private access to the 2nd floor of the building via the front staircase with entry on Warren Street.

I will typically communicate with you via text to make sure all of your needs are being met, solve any problems, and make recommendations. We are always here to greet you upon arrival.
The house is non-smoking. You will see that a previous guest complained re: cigarette smoke in the hallway. This was a one-time occurrence and out of our control but will never happen again. For smokers, it's easy enough to step out on the street to light up.
Chris and Cathryn are partners in the design practice pneumastudio. Cathryn is a landscape architect, and Chris is an architect teaching at RPI in Troy N.Y. During your stay, we will make every effort to accomodate your needs while in Hudson and questions that arise. We will most likely be here, on the first floor of the building, and happy to help you with anything you need.
