I am a University professor and arts professional, interested in a vast cross-section of things including art and visual culture, theatre and music, science, literature, movies and more. I collect 19th century and vernacular photography.
I frequently travel for pleasure to under-appreciated places in weird and wonderful ways. That being said, I also spend a fair amount of time in NYC, with shorter forays to Chicago and other US cities.
Mostly, I travel by myself. I'm adventurous, respectful, independent and quiet.
