The Hop Store is one of 5 holiday cottages at White House Cottages in beautiful Aylton, near Ledbury. The cottage is a former hop store dating back to 1775 with a private courtyard with seating. It's the perfect base for exploring stunning Herefordshire.
This former hop store dates back to approximately 1775.
The cottage is single storey with a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom. Egyptian cotton and fluffy towels are standard.
There is an open plan living/dining room with a well equipped kitchen and a gas log stove.
Outside there is a private, paved patio with table and chairs.
Our start days are Mondays and Fridays, however, we will always try to be as flexible as possible if you’d like to start on another day, so please ask. Guests have their own private terrace and use of the shared walled garden and lawn.
Общение с гостями
We live just across the driveway, so we’ll usually be here to welcome you and show you the ropes (if you like) and then leave you to enjoy your stay. But we’re always about if you need us, whether it’s to replace a bulb or recommend a great pub.
Другие важные подробности
There's access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Please note free WiFi is available, but the signal can be a bit 'countryside' slow, and this also goes for mobile reception - it can be patchy depending on your phone/network.
Hop Store is no smoking cottage, but feel free to nip out to the terrace to smoke. We also ask that you treat the cottage and furnishings with respect, leaving everything in a good and clean condition.
Well-behaved dogs are always welcome (for an additional fee of £15 - payable on arrival). All we ask is that you do not leave them alone in the cottage, keep them off the furniture and clean up after them.
If you are staying longer than a week, we will provide you with clean linen and towels, but it will be your responsibility to keep the cottage clean throughout your stay. We can organise a cleaner if required for a small additional charge.

City girl living in the country! We moved up from London to beautiful Aylton in September 2014, just before having our son, Elijah. He was a little bit more work than expected (!) so updates to our five holiday cottages have been slow, but we are getting there. We love living here, and are really excited about the cottages and welcoming guests to share this wonderful location.
