Steps to beach, park and OB pier. Walking distance to the heart of Ocean Beach -- cafes, restaurants, bars and shopping. The studio is a good fit for the single traveler or quiet couple. Beach towels, chairs, Keurig single-cup coffee maker, wifi and Cable TV are provided. Check-in time is 3p and check-out time is 11am. PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING.
It's small. 180 a square foot studio with one full bed. While NO VIEWS from the unit, the beach is just steps outside of the gate of the property.
Small sink, mini-refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, hot plate (and pan), and crock pot.
is just outside the gated property, and there is a park 50 feet from the property where you can BBQ with picnic tables. There are fire pits on the beach, if you want to have an evening bonfire, and roast some marshmallows and hot dogs.
Guests will have the private studio to themselves. We also rent out the main house separately, so you may see other guests on the property. There are two houses on a lot, and our front neighbors live their full time. Our ideal guests are early to bed, early to rise.
Please access property through the back gate. The front of the property is for the house at the front of the lot.

I live in Los Angeles, so I will not be there to greet you on arrival or visit with you during your stay. My front neighbors watch over the activities of the home, and may introduce themselves, so give a warm hello.

NO ON-SITE PARKING
Unit is best for the person who does not have a car. If you do have a car, there are free daytime parking lots close to the studio. And, street parking opens up after the beach-goers go home after sunset. And, is fairly open all morning. However, remember, we are located right at the beach -- so parking is limited while there are beach goers during the day.

TWO HOUSES ON A LOT.
Our property is the back house of two houses on the lot, and you will be accessing the property through the back alley, not the front of the house. We also separately rent out the main house (above the studio), when we are not there. Our front neighbors are there full time and are amazing and quiet neighbors. Please respect that this is their home and keep the noise down. THERE IS AN APARTMENT BUILDING ADJACENT TO THE STUDIO, and sometimes you can hear conversation and music during the day. It is consistently quiet in the evenings.
CLOSE TO AIRPORT
The home is fairly close (5 miles) to the airport, which is great for transportation. Please note that Ocean Beach is in the flight path and planes fly typically from 630a-10p, and as late as 11:30pm. Ocean Beach (and our house) is in the flight path and you will hear airplane noise as early as 630am. Therefore, early to bed, early to rise guests are ideal.
It's a beach town
Remember that Ocean Beach is a beach town and can be festive, especially during the holidays.
Yet, it's a residential neighborhood.
Loud parties, or inviting guests not traveling with you, will not be tolerated. Our neighbors need to get up for work in the morning, and will let me know of any disturbances. There are plenty of places to party in walking distance.
It's a home. Not a hotel.
Our upstairs main home is above the studio, and may be rented to separate guests. We ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own.

- Please wash/dry/return any dishes you may use
- Never block our property or our neighbor's property with any vehicle
