Room for rent in a big, cozy apartment close to the center of Budapest. If you don't want to go to a hostel but still get a cheap place and also enjoy some hospitality come! Happy to hang and show you around if I'm free! The apartment is in one of the best parts of the city called Újlipótváros. Close to Nyugati train station. Public transport 5 min. Public bicycles 2 min. Danube river 5 min. The Parliament 10 min. Margit Island 10 min. Cafes, mall, shops, clubs also 5-10 minutes.
This place is real home sharing not just a hotel like airbnb place. This means it is not so fancy but there is real hospitality. The room is a beautiful small room with a window at the back of the apartment. Silent and sunny. The living room and an other room is also rented out ocassionally so you will have a chance to meet other travelers if you like to! You are free to use the living room during your time here. Also if more of you coming, don't hesitate to ask! The apartment slowly goes through renovations so the bathroom furnitures are still old style but each year I approve something. So some things are new some things are still old but the place has seen many joy, good fellowships, rest, friendships happen inside! I love it :)
The guest will receive their own key. Can use everything in the flat. :) You can cook alone, or we can cook together. If I'm free, happy to hang out, give tips, take you around the city.

If time allows I'm happy to hag out. I had many joyful nights with guest going out to walk around, or to a good restaurant, craft beer pub or wine bar or one of the great Budapest thermal bath. I'm in to a culinary so feel free to ask about places in Budapest!

I live and work in Budapest. I studied philosophy and theology. Recently I work with an organization supporting young musicians. I have been traveling a lot myself so I appreciate good hospitality. That is why my aim to be a good host to all guest. Renting out my flat is not just a way of earning money but I enjoy what I do. So you are very welcomed! I hope I can enrich your experience providing a good place to stay!
