Experience life in the Miraflor Reserve of mountainous northern Nicaragua. You stay in your own private suite with bath, balcony and spectacular views. We offer total relaxation and serenity, or you can hike, horseback ride, bird watch and dip in swimming holes. We pickup in Esteli if prearranged, go to the farmer's market and cathedral, and prepare breakfasts and dinners (no nearby alternatives). Rainy season is May-Oct, with heaviest rain in Oct. Internet is spotty so some response delay.
Quinta Pacifica is nestled in the mountains of northern Nicaragua in the community of San Jose de Rodeo. It offers a setting for complete serenity and relaxation surrounded by birdsong and greenery of every hue. Your room has queen and single bed, great view, lots of space. Miraflor Nature Reserve includes 3 eco-systems. We are in the low area, but very close to the highest cloud forest area. Spanish lessons are also available.
The price is all inclusive because there are no restaurants or stores nearby. It includes prepared breakfast, lunch and dinner. One dinner will be prepared Nica-style by a neighbor. The price also includes pick-up in the nearby city of Esteli (if prearranged), where we will visit the farmer's market for fresh fruits and veggies, then the Central Park and cathedral, finishing at the supermarket for meats and additional supplies. Esteli is 12 miles from Quinta Pacifica, mostly over dirt roads.

The whole upstairs is yours, with bathroom, balcony, table area for dining or workspace. The downstairs living and dining area and the kitchen are also available.

I'm retired, 67 years old and love living in the rural mountains of Nicaragua. I've lived here for 7 years - hope for 7 more! I like helping people explore this area and giving travel advice, as Nicaragua is not well known but a great place to travel.
