The location was the best thing about this listing. It really is right outside the subway station (Ebisucho). Masa came to pick us up from the station which was really nice. There's lots to do around the station (walking distance) including Tsutenkaku Tower (tall tower with restaurants), Tennoji Zoo, and Shinsekai (nearby street/neighborhood with lots of food and small shops). There is a 24 hour grocery store 1 minute away and lots of convenient stores nearby too. If you walk about 10 minutes, there's a huge Daiso (Japanese dollar/100 yen shop) and Don Quiote (huge store that sells everything).
The actual apartment is as pictured, but like most Japanese places, it's very small. I had 4 people in my party and it was a bit cramped with one bathroom (the shower/bath and toilet are separate so at least 2 different people can use those facilities at once) and almost no space to open suitcases or hang laundry (there is no dryer, so if you plan on using the washer, you have to air dry). However, the 4 separate beds were very nice.
The pocket wifi was very convenient, but it didn't receive signal everywhere we went. This wasn't a huge issue though, because it usually did and it only worked if you put it in a certain corner of the apartment.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this place due to its convenient location and generally good value for money.
